6 reviews for 3/8″ Dovetail to Picatinny Weaver Rail Adapter

Thought this would be a simple, slide on installation. No. It barely starts to go on and then stops cold. Tried gently tapping it on, but it does not budge. Get a low profile one that clamps on.

If they tell me a way to get it on, I’ll change this review (if possible).

Hello we’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues. You’ll need a correct sized HEX tool to install this onto the dovetail rail so it clamps down hard.

It does not slide in. Slides in about 1/4″ and then it gets stuck. Had to hammer it in all the way to finally get it in while at the same time scratching the heck out of my gun. The back of the picatinny is now bent out of shape.

GForce sent me a replacement that was just like the first. Goes on a little way and then stops.

Got it on… after a liberal application of elbow grease with an angle file to the inside angle of the rail so that I could just slide it on by hand and having to tap it on the last 1/2″. Remove the powder coat off the bottom part that contacts the receiver and use a tiny bit of gun lube or machine oil there.

This does not fit! Spent an hour trying with no success. Even filed the edges and used lube and a rubber mallet to no avail. I’m going to contact GForce and try for a refund. Rating won’t let me give no stars!

This rail works very well on other Turkish shotguns with a dovetail groove. I put one on a Charles Daly Honcho (410) and this rail slide right onto it without tapping, etc. Because of the deep “sighting groove” on it between the dovetails, I needed to put some spacers (e.g., small nuts) under the set screws which hold it in place. Super easy. No worries.

  6. GForce Arms

Hi. Just a note on this item. It is meant to be a tight fit on the dovetail rails and won’t just slip on loosely. But, if you have an issue with it, please contact us at [email protected]. We always want you to be happy with your purchase.
